Grave of Annie Cochrane
This is the grave of the 24 year old unmarried daughter of James and Margaret Cochrane, who are buried in Grave No.12. The date of birth is in error by one year; either due to a mistake by the stonemason, or unusual weathering having altered the final digit. The Cochrane Family Bible records "born 16th April 1832, baptized ... 4th day of June 1832".
The stone is unusual; it is a long narrow one with the inscription at right angles to the more normal layout.
