Style Family Grave
(two sons & two daughters)

The photo above shows the flat top of the large tomb containing four of the sons and daughters of Charles and Fanny Style, who are buried in the adjacent grave [Grave No.7]. Below is an enlargement of the inscription which, in 2001, was still quite legible.

It must have been sad for Charles, the father, that his last surviving son William, who died before him aged only 28, did not survive his 2nd cousin, Sir Thomas Style (d.1879). Sir Thomas had no sons, to succeed to the Baronetcy which, on his death, passed to an even more junior branch of the family.

Beneath this stone
are interred the remains of
Frances Dorothea Style
Aged 16 Years
third daughter of
Charles Style of Glenmore
Esq
and Frances his wife
who died 3rd of March 1840.
Of Charles Style Junr
Aged 29 Years
eldest son of same
who died the 21st of October 1845.
Of William Style
Aged 28 Years
the last surviving son of same
who died the 4th of January 1850.
And of Charlotte Style
Aged 46 Years
eldest daughter of same
who died the 30th of June 1859.
