Grave of Charles Style
& Fanny Cochrane

Above is the flat topped tomb of Charles Style (1777-1853) and his wife Fanny Cochrane (1795-1875). Below is a digitally enhanced enlargement of the inscription which, in 2001, was still quite easy to read.

Within the so called Cochrane Burying Ground (Grave Nos.1 to 12) there are five graves (Grave Nos.6 to 10) which, presumably, are all related to the Styles. The main two are this grave (No.7) and the adjacent grave (No.6) for four of Charles Style's children.

Beneath this stone
are interred the remains of
Charles Style of Glenmore Esq
who died 21st December 1853
aged 78 years.
Also
Fanny Style his wife
who died the 20th January 1875
aged 80 years.
